Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year, so of course we had to make a stop at Tis the Season – Ohio’s largest Christmas shop on our recent trip to Amish country.  Although this Berlin Ohio Christmas shop is not quite as large as Bronner’s Christmas store in Frankenmuth, Michigan (which is the world’s largest), Tis the Season Christmas store in Berlin Ohio is still quite impressive in its own right.

I loved the display of nutcrackers at this Berlin Ohio Christmas shop.  I have a small, but growing, display of nutcrackers that I add to each holiday season, so I spent several minutes looking at their assortment.

From the main shopping floor, you can take the stairs to the second floor, which is a loft overlooking the lower level.  It is decorated to look like a quaint little Christmas village.   Street lights line the pathway which add to the ambiance.  Behind the facades of the Yuletide Village are partitioned shopping areas filled with more Christmas goodies for your shopping enjoyment.

Upstairs you can find areas dedicated to Christmas villages, holiday kitchenware, and snowmen among other things.  There is even a little area on the second floor that features tropical Christmas decor.

The lower level of this Berlin Ohio Christmas shop also has a nice selection of blown glass ornaments, including the ones pictured above.  I am not sure why anyone would ever want a toilet or plunger ornament for their Christmas tree (for a plumber maybe?), but seeing them made me chuckle.
